With matches to be played in Pakistan and the UAE, the eagerly awaited Champions Trophy 2025 will start on February 19. With February 11 being the last date to submit final squads, all eight participating teams have locked in their 15-member squads. The last few changes have been due to injury and tactical readjustment, thus making the tournament one that promises to be exciting.
Two of the eight teams get to go into the semi-finals from each group. The groups shall be made as follows:
Group A: India, Pakistan, New Zealand, and Bangladesh.
Group B: Australia, England, South Africa, and Afghanistan.

With injuries and player form among the key factors, there have been several changes to the squads. India has been severely impacted by Jasprit Bumrah’s exclusion owing to injury while Varun Chakaravarthy has been included as a replacement for Yashasvi Jaiswal. Australia has also seen its squad change with five as such due to liabilities due to injuries and because of strategy decisions.
