After an exciting victory over South Africa in the T20 World Cup final 2024, the Indian cricket team has returned home, celebrating their victory! Right now the city of dreams is a hive of movement. Reverberating crowds wave at the open-top bus as the Men in Blue drive through Mumbai’s streets on their victory roadshow. The route begins at the busy business hub of the city, Nariman Point, and ends at the famous Wankhede Stadium, the scene of India’s historic victory a few weeks ago.

Later this evening, the celebrations will top in a special ceremony held right there at the Wankhede. BCCI Secretary Jay Shah will be present to publicly felicitate the champs. Emotional speeches, player interactions, and maybe even a sighting of the coveted trophy being hoisted high once more are all to be expected.
